Zafar Ground (A history now) Almost two decades ago, we used to play cricket in ZAFAR GROUND during our grade 12 days. As our school was near the ground, after the school time we played in the ground for 2 to 3 hours daily. The ground was used to facilitate medical and relief operations during 2005 Mansehra Earthquake as there was not enough space inside the adjacent DHQ hospital for people suffering badly from the disaster. It never became a ground again after that usage. The satellite image of April 2010 shows that some construction work was in progress five years after the earthquake. Nowadays, the ground is a parking space and there is no space left in city for sports. The satellite image of November 2020 shows us the parking space created using the ground inside DHQ hospital boundary.
